reincarnated return to their original form). The<br />
PCs are not told that the side effect of the magic<br />
is total amnesia of the past 24 hours (the<br />
time taken by their quest).<br />
The healing and soothing powers of the Well<br />
lull the PCs to sleep at its edge. Nesfar and<br />
Seeara will take them back to the rock outcropping<br />
overlooking the valley where they<br />
began their quest, leaving them to awaken<br />
and puzzle over their "dreams". The Valley of<br />
the Well then moves randomly to another loca-<br />
tion on Oerth, where the swan and the dragon<br />
wait for others who may also come in search of<br />
the Well of All Heals.<br />
Aftermath<br />
Surviving characters should receive an experience<br />
point award for each encounter they<br />
had along the way. Suggested totals are 200 to<br />
1,000 experience points each per encounter,<br />
depending on ingenuity and cleverness shown<br />
by the players. Those healed by the Well<br />
receive a bonus 1,000 XP.
