While the electromagnetic field intensity is measured using a small<br />
MACOM MA4E2054 antenna, placed under a red strip. The antenna is followed<br />
by a suitable conditioning circuit. It enables the conversion <strong>of</strong> the received signal<br />
ranging between 0 <strong>and</strong> 5 V.<br />
The datalogger records the sample temperature <strong>and</strong> the EM field intensity<br />
every 0,5 seconds. These data can be saved on a PC both in text <strong>and</strong> Micros<strong>of</strong>t<br />
Office Excel format.<br />
After preliminary testing the most suitable operative conditions for using the<br />
datalogger have been determined.<br />
For decreasing the electromagnetic field intensity on the receiving antenna the<br />
red strip has been covered with several layers <strong>of</strong> aluminum adhesive tape <strong>and</strong> the<br />
logger has been placed on a wet sponge with the red strip turned down. For the<br />
