well designed and modified outdoor facilities should provide access to all
members of the community;
where it is not practical to provide access to all areas of public open space, it is
important that access is provided to each type of facility or attraction such as
BBQ areas and nature trails;
provision of accessible paths, seating and eating areas; and
provision of seating and shade at regular intervals.
