Create New Policies Create New Policies Personnel Development Create New Policies in Response to Customers’ Satisfaction The Company has created and developed new policies to fit each situation as well as correspond with customers’ daily living and respond to each of their demands. In 2009, the Company issued the following new patterns of policies. - The “Comprehensive Value Package” a comprehensive motor insurance policy which is appropriate for car lovers with a good driving record. The insured do not have to be jointly responsible if the damage is caused by an outsider and the party can be identified. If an insured car is found to be in the wrong or there is no other party, the insured will be responsible for a deduction of Baht 5,000 per accident. - The “Value Plus” personal accident insurance policy. To respond to the government policy of stimulating the business sector’s and people’s spending, which is the promotion of the country’s overall economy, the Company has issued its product, called “Value Plus” personal accident insurance policy, which meets the demand of and fits the customer group of government officials and employees in a social insurance system, who receive living expenses of Baht 2,000 from the government. The policy increases the value of the government’s “Help the Nation” cheque for the Company’s customers by another Baht 1,000. It provides coverage of Baht 1.0 million and compensates in daily cash benefits of Baht 2,000 per day for 200 consecutive days in case of a customer having to stay in hospital for medical treatment due to an accident. - The “Value Packages” is a combination of appropriate coverage for each group of consumers. It is a policy with value coverage and includes the 2 following packages. - “4 - Classic Diseases Package” provides coverage of 4 critical illness likely to occur in one’s daily life, for example, cancer, cardiac muscle failure, stroke, and chronic kidney failure. If the insured is diagnosed by a doctor as suffering from any one of the 4 diseases, which goes in accordance with the policy’s condition, they will be compensated for it with a maximum amount of Baht 200,000, apart from special interest of 10 consecutive months. The initial premium amounts to only Baht 580 per year. - “Salary Man Package” provides coverage of personal accident insurance and cancer. Moreover, the policy also covers customers’ daily hospital cash benefit during medical treatment in a hospital whether it is caused by customers’ accident or illness. An initial premium amounts to only Baht 2,370 per year. Personnel Development The Company is determined to develop itself to become a learning organization through the encouragement of self-development among staff, including potential development with “On-the-Job Training”, “Coaching”, and “Consulting”, all of which aim to develop multi-skills among individual staff so that he/she gains potential appropriate to his/her position. During 2009, the Company provided its staff with a total of 384 training courses, held both within and without the Company’s compound, as well as granted 1 scholarship to its staff for training overseas. Concerning the development of its employee’s knowledge and skill, the Company provided an average of 5 training days per staff per year. In 2009, the budget spent on the Company’s employee’s training and development totalled Baht 3.0 million 20
