Public Health
- The Company, in cooperation with Bumrungrad Hospital, continuously provides a mobile medical service for the
treatment of people in remote and poverty-stricken areas. These activities are carried out free of charge and are aimed at
promoting peoples’ good health. For every one of the activities there is participation by the Company’s management and volunteer
employees, along with a medical team of doctors and nurses. The activity has been conducted since 1988.
- The Company’s management and staff annually donate blood to the Red Cross Society on the occasion of the
Company’s operation anniversary.
Relief of Public Disasters
- The BKI Care Club comprises the Company’s employees who are voluntary service-minded and really determined to
help society. Each of them is prepared to devote his/her time and energy at weekends performing social activities by providing
supplies and basic necessities to underprivileged people, as well as making a site visit to assist victims of various disasters. For
example, the Club has provided necessities to victims of fire and flood, given hygiene masks in prevention of infection of type – A
(H1N1) influenza, and also providing BKI raincoats to the public, etc.
- The Company has donated overcoats and blankets, to Wat Phrabartnamphu and Dhammarak Children’ Home in Lop Buri
in order to help victims of unusually cold weather.
Other Public Benefits
- The Company’s management and staff have made a visit to underprivileged and aids virus-infected children staying at
Ban Homehug of the Suthasinee Noi-indhra Foundation for Children and Juveniles in Yasothon. They have also donated money,
clothes, necessities and educational equipment to these children, as well as organizing recreational activities to bring about
happiness and smiles.
- The Company has initiated the “Agriculture for Lunch” project by arranging a fish-raising well and areas for growing
kitchen-garden vegetables and perennial plants for Voraditwittayaprasuth School, Angthong, so as to enhance the students’
quality of life, as well as to foster an understanding of earning a living based on the sufficiency economy principle.
