“Nostalgic Christmas Market” all around the Opernpalais<br />
celebrated its 20 th anniversary. The milestone<br />
birthday was slightly marred by ongoing construction<br />
work around the Palais, which unfortunately<br />
prevented the market from manifesting its usual<br />
harmonious appearance and appealing ambience.<br />
The 28 th Christmas Market in the City-West, all around<br />

ant swing “Konga”, as well as its smaller version, the<br />
“Hyper X” were presented as novelties. The “Action<br />
House” also made its début, and with the “Tollhaus”,<br />
a well-known funhouse returned to Berlin (for a onceonly<br />
guest appearance).<br />
The “Berliner Weihnachtszauber” held in front of the<br />
Rotes Rathaus is a fixture among the Berlin Christmas<br />
Markets, with the blue Willenborg Ferris Wheel<br />
