■ Oceanfront Boardwalk, Myrtle Beach: 60 metre
high Skywheel from Chance Rides.
Tennessee
■ Dollywood: "Wild Eagle", Wing Coaster from B&M
with 4 inversions (Loop, Zero G Roll, Immelmann,
Giant Flat Spin), 953 m long, 58 m high.
■ Wilderness at the Smokies, Sevierville: New area
outside of the actual water park with mini-golf, bowling
alley, and other attractions.
Texas
■ Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier: Coaster,
type “Eurofighter” from Gerstlauer, not a standard
version. (Name: “Iron Shark”)
■ Hawaiian Falls Garland: "The Abyss", a 2-passenger
dark slide with a number of special effects
(light, sound, projectors). The "Splashwater Harbour"
will be changed to "Keiki Kingdom" and will
receive an eight-shape floating basin.
■ Hawaiian Falls Mansfield: “Cliff Hanger” (3 person
slide with 12 m high fall) and a “Boomerango”
(Halfpipe Slide), additionally the "Splashwater Harbour"
water playground.
■ Hawaiian Falls Roanoke: "Cyclone Fury" will be a
1.6 million Dollar slide complex with four new attractions:
“Whirlwind” (pipe slide), “Wiki Waki Plunge
and Lava Flow” (Speed Slides), “Hurricane“
(family raft slide), as well as the “DoubleBowlsEye“
from SplashTacular.
■ Hawaiian Falls The Colony: “Whirlwind“, a new
type of “Duelling Bowl Slide” from SplashTacular.
Joyland Amusement Park: A new water playground
"Water Fortress", the facility was previously at Cliff’s
Amusement Park, New Mexico.
■ Schlitterbahn Beach at South Padre: The water
park will have its own hotel.
■ Sea World Texas: "Aquatica" is the name of the
old and rebuilt water park with “Stingray Rapids”
(Family Raft with underwater grotto), “HooRoo
Run”, “Tassie’s Twisters” (Bowl Slides), “Kiwi Curl”
(Body Slides), “Whanau Way” (Tube Slides),
“Loggerhead Lane” (Lazy River), “Big Surf Shores”
(Wave Pool). “Wahalla Wave” will be a unique slide
attraction for Northern America.
■ Six Flags Fiesta Texas: A 61 m high "SkyScreamer"
from Ride Entertainment Group (Funtime) and a
new show.
Virginia
■ Busch Gardens Europe: "Verbolten", a Launch
Coaster from Zierer, 80 km/h speed with an indoor
freefall segment, 864 m long, highest drop 26 m, on
the area of the Suspended Coaster „Big Bad Wolf”
from Arrow Dynamics, the old track course will be
used in part.
■ Kings Dominion: A 93 m high “Windseeker” from
Mondial and Walkthrough attraction "Dinosaurs
Alive!“
■ Ocean Breeze: An approx. 350 m long Lazy River,
and new gastronomy.
Wisconsin
■ Noah’s Ark: "Quadzilla", a four-lane “KrakenRacer”
from ProSlide
Central and Southern America
Argentina
■ Republico de los Ninos: A Big Apple/Wacky
Worm from the Aventura Center.
Brazil
■ Alpen Park: The park that exists since 2003 in Rio
Grande do Sul will erect its first coaster.
■ Hopi Hari: An 875 m long 10-Loop construction
from Intamin will be erected in the Wild West area,
including two trains in a new open design.
