The Italian ride manufacturer Technical Park has
a surprise to offer the industry, namely the novelty
attraction “Wild Spark”.
With its bouncing gondolas the attraction is currently
very much the trend. According to the wish of
several customers, the manufacturer has equipped
the “Wild Spark” with fixed gondolas, to provide a
family-friendly ride experience. The gondolas, accommodating
three passengers each, are mounted
on 14 arms. This results in a capacity of 42 passengers
per ride. The seats are equipped with
pneumatic shoulder restraints, already used and
well proven on the “Loop Fighter” attractions from
Technical Park. An original compressed air system
built in Spain – in other words, where the best
“Saltamontes” come from – provides for the bouncing
movement. The attraction, with a diameter of 16
metres, requires only one transport vehicle. The first
example is to go into operation in autumn. According
to Technical-Park Manager Marco Grigolo, the
ride will be approved by TÜV Süd before it is
delivered to a customer in Germany.
