Students can also pursue pr<strong>of</strong>essional study at<br />
KCUMB by completing a chemistry major at<br />
<strong>Jewell</strong>. All requirements <strong>of</strong> the major and the general<br />
education program must be completed while<br />
at <strong>William</strong> <strong>Jewell</strong> <strong>College</strong>, with the first year at<br />
KCUMB counting as elective credit toward the B.A.<br />

Occupational Therapy<br />
Students may apply to enter the three years plus<br />
two years program in occupational therapy<br />
<strong>of</strong>fered in conjunction with Washington<br />
University. Acceptance into the master’s program<br />
in occupational therapy is solely at the discretion<br />
<strong>of</strong> Washington University. If accepted into the<br />
program completion <strong>of</strong> the following courses at<br />
<strong>Jewell</strong> leads to a B.A. degree with a psychology<br />
major from <strong>William</strong> <strong>Jewell</strong> after successful completion<br />
<strong>of</strong> the first year’s work at Washington<br />
University. (The student continues at Washington<br />
University and, upon successful completion <strong>of</strong><br />
the program in occupational therapy, receives the<br />
M.S. degree from Washington University.)<br />
Students may transfer into <strong>Jewell</strong> a maximum <strong>of</strong><br />
16 hours <strong>of</strong> the following course work. Students<br />
must complete a minimum <strong>of</strong> 12 hours <strong>of</strong> psychology<br />
at <strong>Jewell</strong>.<br />
All <strong>of</strong> the following courses are required either by<br />
Washington University or <strong>William</strong> <strong>Jewell</strong> <strong>College</strong>.<br />
