356 Reliability and Survival Analysis Chapter 19 Univariate Survival Analysis Figure 19.8 Survival Plot and Report Structure of Survival Platform Statistical Reports for the Univariate Analysis Initially, the Summary table and Quantiles table are shown (Figure 19.9). The Summary table shows the number of failed and number of censored observations for each group (when there are groups) and for the whole study. The mean and standard deviations are also adjusted for censoring. For computational details about these statistics, see the SAS/STAT User’s Guide (2001). The quantiles table shows time to failure statistics for individual and combined groups. These include the median survival time, with upper and lower 95% confidence limits. The median survival time is the time (number of days) at which half the subjects have failed. The quartile survival times (25% and 75%) are also included.
