(OVERHEAT ERROR) Can the overheat condition be reset by pressing the boiler reset button when the system is cold ? Does the pump setting give a differential across the boiler in excess of 25 o C ? Set CH control knob to maximum. If the overheat trips again measure the flow temp: Over 90 o C Under 90 o C YES Is the boiler and CH system filled with water and all isolation valves open ? YES (also refer to Frame 88) NO Check control thermistor (Refer to Frame 90) Replace overheat 'stat NO YES 88 L.....E..... OR L.....A..... (WATER PRESSURE SWITCH) Note. LE occurs when boiler is cold. (FAN ERROR) Is nominal 330 V DC present across red and blue at the fan connector as reset button is pressed? NO NO Is the boiler and CH system filled with water with a minimum pressure of 1.0 bar (cold) and all isolation valves open? YES (also refer to Frame 86) Is 230V available across the water pressure switch electrical leads YES Replace water pressure switch YES NO NO NO Is 14V DC present across yellow and pink at the fan connector? NO Check wiring harness for continuity. Is there continuity? Replace overheat thermostat Fill and vent the system and open all isolation valves Check that the pump is rotating freely. FAULT FINDING 90 H.....1..... (CONTROL THERMISTOR [FLOW] ERROR) Remove the boiler control thermistor from the CH flow pipe and disconnect thermistor wires. Check resistance using a suitable multimeter connected across the thermistor’s terminal pins At 25 o C expect 9,700 - 10,300 Ohms At 60 o C expect 2,400 - 2,600 Ohms At 85 o C expect 1,000 - 1,100 Ohms Are the thermistor values correct ? YES Is there continuity between the PCB and the thermistor ? 91 H.....2..... (CONTROL THERMISTOR [RETURN] ERROR) Remove the boiler return thermistor from the CH return pipe. Check resistance using a suitable multimeter connected across the thermistor’s terminal pins At 25 o C expect 9,700 - 10,300 Ohms At 60 o C expect 2,400 - 2,600 Ohms At 85 o C expect 1,000 - 1,100 Ohms Are the thermistor values correct ? YES Is there continuity between the PCB and the thermistor ? 92 H.....3..... (DHW THERMISTOR ERROR) Remove the boiler DHW thermistor from the plate heat exchanger and disconnect thermistor wires. Check resistance using a suitable multimeter connected across the thermistor’s terminal pins At 25 o C expect 9,700 - 10,300 Ohms At 60 o C expect 2,400 - 2,600 Ohms At 85 o C expect 1,000 - 1,100 Ohms Are the thermistor values correct ?
