The Salt <strong>Sulphur</strong> has a temper<strong>at</strong>ure <strong>of</strong> 50° which<br />
<strong>the</strong> same <strong>of</strong> those <strong>of</strong> Tunbridge, in England.<br />
The Warm Springs have a temper<strong>at</strong>ure <strong>of</strong> 97° Fa.<br />
The Sweet Spring w<strong>at</strong>er is nearly tepid <strong>at</strong> 73° Fa.<br />
At <strong>the</strong> Hot Springs, in <strong>Virginia</strong>, <strong>the</strong> temper<strong>at</strong>ure<br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> different b<strong>at</strong>hs verge from 103° to 106°<br />
They have <strong>the</strong> Gentleman's Hot Spout b<strong>at</strong>h ;<br />
<strong>the</strong><br />

constantly pouring streams <strong>of</strong> hot w<strong>at</strong>er into <strong>the</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> temper<strong>at</strong>ure <strong>of</strong> this w<strong>at</strong>er is between<br />
98° and 99° and <strong>the</strong> whole is covered by an octagonal<br />
building, furnished with a dressing room ;<br />

b<strong>at</strong>h is used altern<strong>at</strong>ely by ladies and gentlemen f<strong>or</strong><br />
periods <strong>of</strong> two hours.<br />
