WHITE SULPHUR SOCIETY PIC NIC.<br />
It is advisable f<strong>or</strong> all who come to <strong>the</strong> spiings, to<br />
remain any time, to bring with <strong>the</strong>m some amusing<br />
and entertaining books ; <strong>the</strong>y will find <strong>the</strong>m very<br />
pleasant companions <strong>of</strong> a dull hour, during <strong>the</strong> he<strong>at</strong><br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> day, and in rainy we<strong>at</strong>her. The essays <strong>of</strong><br />
Charles Lamb, is an admirable book f<strong>or</strong> a w<strong>at</strong>ering<br />
place, many <strong>of</strong> his happiest thoughts being here<br />
illustr<strong>at</strong>ed.<br />
It is now <strong>the</strong> middle <strong>of</strong> August, and <strong>the</strong> <strong>White</strong><br />
<strong>Sulphur</strong> and <strong>the</strong> whole neighbourhood is<br />
with company.<br />
