No manager or team member shall serve alcohol to a person who is (1) a
minor, (2) visibly intoxicated, (3) known to be a habitual drunkard, or
(4) without proper identification or verification of age.
It is the responsibility of every team member involved with the serving of
alcoholic beverages to be familiar with the signs of intoxication and the
Company’s Liquor Liability Policies. Violations of this policy are grounds
for disciplinary action up to and including immediate termination.
Meal Discounts
Team Member Meals While on Duty
• Always check with a manager prior to ordering food.
• All non-tipped team members receive one free meal per shift from the team
member menu.
• All such meals should be eaten in an area designated for breaks and/or a
dining area designated by the restaurant managers.
• Tipped team members receive a 50% discount on meals ordered from the
team member menu.
Discounts When Not Working
We want you to take advantage of eating at our restaurants when you are not
working. Therefore, the following discount is provided as a benefit:
• 25% discount for food and non-alcoholic beverages for you and up to 3
guests.
• Please provide a copy of your paycheck stub to receive your benefit.
• Please tip at least 15% of the total bill prior to the discount.
• Restaurant team members are not allowed to sit at the bar top, on or off the
clock, at their home restaurant or at any other location.
Meal and Rest Periods
BJ’s provides team members with periodic meal and rest periods during
designated working hours in compliance with applicable federal, state and
