in Jakarta, and received her LLM from the Fordham School of Law, at Fordham
University in New York (1999).
Areas of expertise include energy, natural resources (oil and gas, mining, geothermal),
project finance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate and commercial law.
Ms Purbo represents multinational companies in natural resources and energy
and has been involved in a wide variety of transactions in the mining, oil and gas and
power industries. She has extensive experience dealing with government agencies and
state-owned enterprises, including Pertamina, the state-owned oil and gas company, and
PT PLN, the state electricity company. Ms Purbo has handled, inter alia, acquisitions of
gas assets, oil and gas and mining concessions, gas sales financing and electricity projects.
