and mix design guidel<strong>in</strong>es should be adjusted accord<strong>in</strong>gly for these three dist<strong>in</strong>ct<br />

uses. Prelim<strong>in</strong>ary <strong>in</strong>formation on aggregate quality guidel<strong>in</strong>es was provided by<br />

Fugro on the CALTRANS study for slurry seals and microsurfac<strong>in</strong>g. These data<br />

are compared to both the ISSA guidel<strong>in</strong>es and exist<strong>in</strong>g FLH specifications <strong>in</strong><br />

Tables 16 and 17.<br />
