Eastman Kodak Co. has begun excavation
for a multi-million dollar addition to
the facilities of Kodak Research Laboratories,
in Rochester, says Dr. John A.
Leermakers, Kodak vice-president and director
of the laboratories. Construction of
the new seven-story building, which will
provide over 200,000 square feet of floor
space, will stai-t in the spring. Completion
is scheduled for January, 1968.
American Beverage Corp., reported the
nation's second largest bottler of Pepsi-
Cola, will soon begin operating from its
new $2.5 million bottling plant, in Miami.

The new 165.000-.sciuare-fool facility will be
capable of tripling output of the firm's
present bottling plant by turning out 1,500
containers of drinks a minute— 1,100 bottles
and 400 cans. It is reported the final
step in ABC's $5 million expansion
program.
Squirt-Dr Pepper Bottling Co. of St.
Louis recently opened its new 31,000-
square-foot plant on a 4'2-acre site with
an open house and weekend celebration.
