New Ramp-Directional Lighting Line
For Drive-Ins Introduced by Eprad
A complete product line of new ramp and
directional lighting signs for drive-ln theatres
is now being Introduced by Eprad,
Inc. Three basic models are Included. The
"Kleanklt," as the new product Is called. Is
reported specifically designed for use with
these delicate reflectors. Lee Artoe says it
contains harmless but effective solutions
and powder that cannot scratch or mar
the surface.

New 'SpaceSover' Makes 10 Gallons
An Hour of Soft-Serve, Sherbets
Designed for operators with limited
counter space, the new Sweden Freezer
"SpaceSaver" will produce 10 gallons per
houi- of soft-serve, sherbets or other
frozen desserts, says the firm. The stainless
steel unit is 14% inches wide and 26
inches deep. A finger lift of the gate
plunger automatically starts the dasher
motor and dispenses product. It has no
switches, levers or valves requiring
manipulation or attention.
"Econ-O-Llte" ramp marker and aisle
light is of cast aluminum, painted blue
hammertone. It has an aluminum legend
panel painted white with contrasting black
numerals or letters and uses a 28 volt lamp.
The "Super-Brite" line uses 110 volt lamps,
features aluminum castings and plexiglas
legend panels. Legends include a variety
of directional signs and ramp and full
signs. The "Day-Brite" line features an extruded
aluminum frame that will not rust
and never requires painting, says Eprad.
Silk screened legend panels are protected
with durable butyrate sheets. Units are
lighted by 110 volt fluorescent lamps and
are available with optional "Glo-Brite"
tops or with a standard flat top.

New Model Ice Machine by Mile High
Produces 225 Pounds of Ice in Day
A new model of the "Ice-O-Matic" ice
machine, which will produce up to 225
pounds of ice in 24 hours, is announced by
Dave Smith, president, Mile High Equipment
Co. The 32-inch size will store up to
150 pounds and the 38-inch size up to 300
povmds. Unit is available in pearl gray
baked hammerloid finish or all stainless
steel.
Taco Recipe, Ingredients, Warmer
Offered by Variety Food Products
Tacos, the Mexican equivalent of the
hamburger, are proving popular snack bar
items in California and the Southwest and
many schools have started serving them as
a change from routine menus, says Variety
Food Products. The firm—which supplies
ingredients, warmers and recipes—says the
tacos use crunchy corn shells combined
because any unused meat mix will stori
under refrigeration and the com shells wll
not get stale when kept in dry storage.

"LPS#2" forms a heavier, transparent filr
that displaces moisture and protects a!
sheltered metals from rust and corrosion
for a year or more and offers outdoor pro
tection up to one year. "LPS#3" forms
heavier film that protects all metals fror
i-ust and corrosion for two years or mor
under severe outdoor, unsheltered condi
tions.
Theatre applications for "LPS#1" ar
said to include: (1) prevent corrosion oi
in-car speaker cases, (2) clean "scratchy
volume controls in speakers and line ampli
fiers and protect and prolong the life o
volume control elements, (3) free and lub
ricate sticking locks and parts on ca
counter and boxoffice ticket machines, (4
free frozen parts and rusted equipmen
where common penetrating oils have failed
It is also being used inside junction boxe
to: (1) free frozen bolts and (2) spray inti
post transformers so as to drive moistun
out of windings and prevent shorts
"LPS#2" or "LPS#3" are then applied in
side junction box to give extended protec
tion to transformer and terminals.
"IjPS#2" serves as a lubricant and rust
