5.6.2 Impact of Effective TAH Scope<br />

In this analysis, the effect of adjust<strong>in</strong>g the THOA ETS on handover delay and load<br />

balance factor is measured. In the simulation, three typical handover scenarios have<br />

been considered: low trust density (0.3), medium trust density (0.6) and high trust<br />

density (0.9). When the effective TAH scope ETS is <strong>in</strong>creased <strong>in</strong> an attempt to make the<br />

load fairly distributed among the POAs (shown <strong>in</strong> Figure 5.11), the MH with the THOA<br />

enabled may experience an <strong>in</strong>crease of handover delay <strong>in</strong> the medium and high trust<br />
