The dual-<strong>in</strong>terface MH is compared with the s<strong>in</strong>gle-<strong>in</strong>terface MH <strong>in</strong> regards to their data<br />

throughput, end-to-end packet delay and handover delay. The data throughputs of the<br />

dual-<strong>in</strong>terface and the s<strong>in</strong>gle-<strong>in</strong>terface mobile term<strong>in</strong>als are demonstrated <strong>in</strong> Figure 7.6<br />

and Figure 7.7 respectively. Both types of mobile term<strong>in</strong>al show common data<br />

transmission characteristics <strong>in</strong> non radio overlap areas. In the overlap areas, the dual-<br />
