PROCEDURE:<br />

(1) Pilotage is compulsory.<br />

(2) Berthing takes place HJ only, unberthing H24.<br />

(3) Notice <strong>of</strong> ETA: Vessels should advise ETA to the agents and terminal within 24h<br />

<strong>of</strong> vessel’s acceptance by the terminal. Vessels should also provide their itinerary<br />

and ETA updates weekly thereafter and at 7 days, 4 days, 72h, 48h, 36h and 24h in<br />

advance <strong>of</strong> arrival at the Pilot boarding position.<br />

(4) <strong>The</strong> 72h ETA message to the terminal should include the following information:<br />

(a) Master’s name<br />

(b) Departure draughts<br />

(c) Departure displacement<br />

(d) Quantity <strong>of</strong> cargo to be loaded<br />

(e) Maximum loading rate<br />

(f) Quantity <strong>of</strong> slops onboard (water and oil)<br />

(g) Notifi cation <strong>of</strong> any defects aff ecting the safe operation <strong>of</strong> the vessel<br />

(h) Confi rmation that the inert gas system is fully operational and tank contents do<br />

not exceed 8% oxygen<br />

(i) Security information relating to the last 10 port calls <strong>of</strong> the vessel:<br />

(i) <strong>The</strong> security level at which the vessel operated at the ports<br />

(ii) Any special or additional security measures that were implemented by the<br />

vessel in any port where it conducted a vessel/port interface<br />

(iii) Whether appropriate vessel security procedures were maintained during<br />

any vessel to vessel activity<br />

(5) Any changes in ETA <strong>of</strong> either, greater than 1 day prior to one week arrival, or<br />

greater than 4h within the last week <strong>of</strong> arrival, should be reported immediately by fax or<br />

e-mail to the Operations Superintendent, Lifting Coordinator and FPSO OIM.<br />

(6) Vessels should confi rm berthing prospects when within VHF range <strong>of</strong> the terminal.<br />

Should it be necessary to anchor, the vessel should proceed to the Pilot boarding<br />

position/anchorage.<br />

(7) Pilot boards within a circle <strong>of</strong> radius 0·5 n miles centered on position 7°21′·48N<br />

108°17′·65E.<br />
