PROCEDURE:
(1) Reporting: Tankers and all laden commercial vessels may report to Shetland
Coastguard on VHF Ch 16 or 70 at least 1h before ETA and on fi nal departure of the
Pentland Firth (see NOTE).
(2) The report will be passed on a working VHF Channel as advised by Shetland
Coastguard, and should be in the following format:

Day of month (two fi gures) and time in hours and minutes (UT(GMT) in four
