PROCEDURE:
(1) Pilotage is compulsory by the Mooring Master and Vietnamese Pilot.
(2) The terminal will endeavour to moor the Off take Tanker upon arrival during daylight,
weather permitting. Night time berthing shall only be permitted at the discretion of the
FPSO Manager.
(3) A Marine Exclusion Zone (MEZ) has been established around the terminal,
bounded by the following positions:
(a) 10°01′·15N 107°58′·02E
(b) 9°58′·64N 108°00′·48E
(c) 9°53′·39N 107°57′·73E
(d) 9°54′·37N 107°54′·75E
(e) 10°00′·37N 107°56′·05E
(4) Anchoring within the MEZ shall only be permitted with the prior consent of the TGT
Off shore Installation Manager (OIM). Anchoring outside the MEZ is at the discretion
of the Off take Tanker Master, however, the Off take Tanker should remain within VHF
communication range, taking into account positions of the gas pipeline between TGT
and Bach Ho oil fi elds.
(5) Notice of ETA: Vessels should advise ETA 72h, 48h, 24h, 12h and 4h prior to
arrival (UTC or LT). On receipt of the 72h ETA notice, the terminal shall respond to the
Off take Tanker advising preliminary terminal requirements.
(6) Once the Off take Tanker is within 4h of the terminal, communications should be
established on VHF Ch 06 or 16.
(7) Mooring Master and Pilot boards in position 10°00′·00N 107°55′·00E.
