PROCEDURE:<br />
(1) Pilotage is compulsory except when arriving or departing the Designated<br />
Waiting Area (10 n mile diameter circle centred on position 6°07′·50S 10°36′·70E).<br />
(2) Notice <strong>of</strong> ETA: Vessels should advise ETA via e-mail or fax to the terminal on<br />
commencement <strong>of</strong> voyage from previous port. ETA updates should also be sent 96h,<br />
72h, 48h, 24h and 4h before arrival confi rming the fi rm ETA. Further ETA updates<br />
should be made when within VHF range.<br />
(3) An immediate ETA should be sent if the vessel’s ETA varies by more than 6h from<br />
the original ETA.<br />
(4) An immediate ETA should be sent if the vessel’s ETA varies by more than 1h<br />
following transmission <strong>of</strong> the 24h ETA.<br />
(5) Vessels should notify the terminal <strong>of</strong> any signifi cant changes in ETA, or in the<br />
availability <strong>of</strong> the vessel to commence loading upon arrival, where there is any potential<br />
for negative impact on the timing <strong>of</strong> terminal operations.<br />
(6) Upon receipt <strong>of</strong> the terminal standard message, vessels should advise by e-<br />
mail (angolab31psvmterm@bp.com) and/or fax (+244(0)222 638080), the following<br />
information:<br />
(a) ETA and intended NOR<br />
(b) Cargo requirements in bbls, nominated disports<br />
(c) Confi rm vessel bow is fully OCIMF compliant with SBM recommendations and<br />
advise number, type, size and SWL <strong>of</strong> bow stoppers<br />
(d) Oil pollution certifi cate details (CLC + IOPPC)<br />
(e) Last port and expected volume OBQ/slops on arrival<br />
(f) Owner, operator, charterer<br />
(g) Address and telephone number <strong>of</strong> owner, operator, charterer<br />
(h) Flag, port <strong>of</strong> registry<br />
(j) SDWT, max summer draught, gt, nt, LOA, beam, year built, call sign<br />
(k) Master’s full name as to appear on Bill <strong>of</strong> Lading<br />

conducted between 0600 LT and 1500 LT with unmooring H24.<br />
(8) Vessels are prohibited from approaching within 5 n miles <strong>of</strong> the FPSO without the<br />
Pilot or Terminal Representative onboard.<br />
