■ Benefits
7 Lower planning costs through simple configuration
7 Time-saving mounting through plug-in quick connector
7 Tap-off points on both sides for optimized utilization of the busbar
line
7 Uniform current loading of the conductors through splitting of
the tap-off plugs among the individual phases
7 Tap-off plugs allow fast and flexible load relocation
7 Accessories for increasing the degree of protection to IP55 for
extreme ambient conditions
Tap-off point
The trunking units are available in 2 and 3 meter lengths. They
comprise a square, tin-plated metal enclosure painted graywhite.
They are equipped with insulated circular conductors on one or
two sides:
• 2 conductors for L1 + N (PE = enclosure), one-side
• 3 conductors for L1 + L2 + N (PE = enclosure), one-side
• 4 conductors for L1 + L2 + L3 + N (PE = enclosure), one-side
or two-side
• 2 conductors for L3 + N (PE = enclosure) and
4 conductors for L1 + L2 + L3 + N (PE = enclosure).
Single conductor run:
tap-off points at intervals
of 0,5 or 1 m
The tap-off points are arranged evenly on the trunking unit at a
distance of 0.5 or 1 m apart.
The trunking unit enclosure acts as the PE conductor. Three current
intensities are available: 2 × 25 A, 30 A, 40 A and 2 × 40 A.
All trunking units are equipped with finger-safe tap-off points.
The tap-off points can be subsequently coded.
Connection technology
The trunking units, including those with feeder units and end
flanges, are assembled without tools by straightforward plug-in
connection. The PE path is established automatically when the
enclosures are connected.
An interlock mechanism with two fixings prevents a loosening of
the connections between the trunking units, feeder units and
flanges. Two fixings prevent the connection from becoming undone.
No expansion compensation is required.
