CIFF TURNS 37<br />
Happy Birthday, CIFF! Come celebrate with us on Saturday, April 13th as the CIFF<br />
officially turns 37 (the first day of the first ever CIFF took place on Wednesday, April 13,<br />
1977). We’ll have surprises planned throughout the day to keep the celebration rolling, so<br />
make it a date and join the party!<br />
COLLEGE DAY<br />
Show your love for film and for your<br />
college by attending College Day at the<br />
37th CIFF on Tuesday, April 9th<br />
at Tower City Cinemas. Stop by the College<br />
Day table at the <strong>Festival</strong> with your valid<br />
college I.D. and receive free admission to<br />
any screening between 9:00 a.m. and<br />
2:00 p.m. while ticket supplies last.<br />
Please note: You must have a current<br />
college I.D. to gain admittance to films.<br />
For screenings on other days, student<br />
discounts are available through online<br />
ticket purchases. Check the CIFF college<br />
page (www.clevelandfilm.org/college) for<br />
discount codes. Discounts are also available<br />
to students at the Ulmer & Berne<br />
<strong>Film</strong> <strong>Festival</strong> Box Office.<br />

DAY<br />
Volunteers are the heart and soul of the CIFF and our <strong>Festival</strong><br />
wouldn’t be possible without their passion, their smiles, and<br />
their tireless efforts. This year we are proclaiming Friday,<br />
April 12th as Volunteer Appreciation Day! We’ll have<br />
special treats for them and we encourage you to take pictures<br />
with your favorite CIFF volunteers! Hashtag the pictures<br />
#CIFF on Instagram or Twitter so we can share them on our<br />
social media outlets.<br />

Popcorn for Lunch<br />
Spend your lunch hour at the 37th <strong>Cleveland</strong> <strong>International</strong> <strong>Film</strong> <strong>Festival</strong>! Join<br />
us to watch any (or all) of a program of collected short subject films.<br />
These screenings typically last between 90 and 100 minutes, but individual<br />
shorts can have a running time between one minute and 30 minutes. So you can<br />
join us at the beginning, join us in progress, leave early, or stay to the very end.<br />
Tower City Cinemas will offer a Buy Me/Get Me Concession Special between<br />
11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on April 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12. Buy any size<br />
popcorn and get the same size fountain drink for FREE. Plus, fresh wraps will<br />
be featured at Dee’s Café, which is located near the <strong>Film</strong> <strong>Festival</strong> Store inside<br />
the lobby.<br />

T-Shirt Day<br />

The <strong>Film</strong> <strong>Festival</strong>’s third annual T-Shirt Day will take<br />
place on Sunday, April 14th. Wear a t-shirt<br />
(or sweatshirt) from any of the 37 CIFFs and enter a<br />
drawing to win two all-access passes to next year’s<br />
<strong>Festival</strong>. And, once again, a photo booth will be set<br />
up so that you can capture your <strong>Festival</strong> fashion<br />
statement on film.
