Placing a large ticket order? Now you can automatically save $2 off the price of every ticket when your order contains 10 or more tickets. Gift Certificates Give the gift of film with a Cleveland International Film Festival Gift Certificate! Gift certificates can be purchased in any amount and can be sent instantly via email (or a paper copy can be mailed). They can be redeemed for tickets, merchandise, or memberships online, by phone, in person, or by mail. Between March 22 and April 14, 2013, gift certificates are available for purchase online (under the “Support Us” tab at www.clevelandfilm.org), by phone (877.304.3456), or in-person at the Ulmer & Berne Film Festival Box Office located in the lobby of Tower City Cinemas. For the general public: Tickets go on sale Friday, March 22, 2013 at 11:00 AM via all four options below. NOTE: Orders received on or before March 26, 2013 will be mailed; otherwise, tickets will be held at the Film Festival “Duke Desk” (Will Call) at the entrance to Tower City Cinemas. Please bring your credit card or other identification when picking up your order. 1 Online Ticketing System Purchasing tickets is easy on our secure website, www.clevelandfilm.org. Use our online shopping cart so that you can purchase all of your tickets at once. A handling fee of $3.00 is added to each order. CIFF members can log in, purchase tickets before the general public, and take advantage of discounts on tickets. Tickets will be sold until 11:00 PM on the day before the screening. 2 Phone via 877.304.FILM (toll-free) Toll-free calls will be directed to the Ulmer & Berne Film Festival Box Office. A handling fee of $3.00 is added to each order. Tickets will be sold until 9:00 PM on the day before the screening. Important Ticket holders and passholders must arrive at least 20 minutes before showtime for seating. No refunds (except Stand By patrons who don’t get in). Exchanges, when possible, will be subject to a $3.00 processing fee per order. All films are subject to change. No one under age ten will be admitted, except to Family Films. All children must have a ticket. No Tower City Cinemas or Cleveland Cinemas discount tickets, coupons, or passes will be accepted. Sold Out? Nope–Just on Stand By! Only a portion of the tickets to any film are sold in advance so that we can save room for our passholders. Therefore, even for crowded films, we can often accommodate many patrons just before showtime. Numbered Stand By tickets are sold beginning one hour before showtime, outside the theater lobby. (Be aware that a line sometimes forms earlier than this.) Then just before the film begins, Stand By ticket holders are admitted, in numerical order, on a space-available basis until the theater is full. Those who cannot get in receive a replacement voucher or refund. Cash or vouchers only; no checks or credit cards. Hint: buy your tickets early or, better yet, become a passholder-level member to avoid Stand By! 3 4 U.S. Mail Order forms can be found on page 177 of the 37th CIFF Program Guide.
