REQUIREMENTS FOR THE BACHELOR OF ARTS WITH A WRITING EMPHASIS MAJOR IN ENGLISH – In addition to
the requirements listed above, students must complete courses in a modern foreign language through the intermediate level.
English Minor Requirements
Students choosing to minor in English may pursue either the Literary Studies track or the Writing Emphasis track. The
requirements for each version of the English minor are outlined below. Students must earn a grade of C or better in any
course counting toward the English major.
