all basically made

to cloth ‘scoop’
up the water and
dry your skin. So
why do some towels
dry you better
than others
It completely
depends on the
cotton quality.
The most absorbent
towelling is
Egyptian, Turkish or Bamboo. The loops stand
up and are soft to the touch. A towel of lower
quality and absorbency will feel rough and the
loops are flat.
High quality cotton has long soft and strong
fibres, so yes, it is more expensive but lasts so
much longer than lower quality cotton with
short, rough fibres. Typically, the dyes are
more expensive too in better quality towels so
the colours do not run. Darker colours require
more dye so the fabric is a bit stiffer and less
absorbent.
NEVER use fabric softener on your towels!
Yes, they smell lovely and there is no static but
the softener coats all the fibres (to stop the
static) and coated fibres don’t absorb water
very easily. White vinegar acts like fabric softener
and also helps remove the musty smell
towels sometimes have if they aren’t dried
completely (or you’ve found them on your
son’s floor, again).

(FBAR) or Form TD F 90-22.1, must be sent by
June 30 to the Department of Treasury.
It is important to note that the FBAR must
be completed by U.S. persons who have signing
authority for a foreign financial account,
including a bank or trust account, if the aggregate
of accounts is more than $10,000 at any
point in the year. So if you are a U.S. citizen
with a savings account and investments totalling
more than $10,000 at any time in 2011,
you need to file a FBAR by June 30.
The FBAR is completely separate from the
criminal, tax or regulatory investigations or
proceedings.
Disclosure is not optional and the fines associated
with FBAR non-compliance are substantial.
When the IRS talks about voluntary disclosure
programs, those fines may be one of the
biggest reasons people are complying: failing
to file an FBAR can result in civil and criminal
penalties, including fines up to $500,000 and
a prison sentence of up to five years.
