pool water

Salt Water — Having a salt water chlorine
generator installed on your pool will replace the
need to add chlorine manually to the water. Not
only that, it provides some of the best feeling
swimming water! There are misconceptions
out there that a salt water chlorine generator
will eliminate the need for any other water care
products, but this is not true. The only thing the
generator will do is add chlorine directly to the
water. There is still the need to add a shock and
algaecide on a bi-weekly basis.
Synergy — This chlorine based system requires
3 easy steps to help maintain clean sparkling
water. The Synergy Initiator is a borate
based product that is added once per season
which softens the water, increases chlorine efficiency
and helps to prevent algae blooms. Then
on a weekly basis, you are adding Synergy Tablets
to your chlorinator or dispenser, and sprinkling
over the water Synergy Clear (swim after
15 minutes, no need to pre-dissolve). This is one
of the easiest systems for pool care on the market,
and by far our most popular!
15 Minute Work Week — This system includes
Smart Sticks (chlorine) that can be added
directly to the skimmer, Smart Shock and Banish.
Every week you are replenishing the sticks in
your skimmer, shocking with Smart Shock (swim
after 15 minutes, no pre-dissolving) and preventing
algae with Banish.
Bromine — Bromine is the only other approved
sanitizer, apart from chlorine, that is recognized
by Health Canada. On a weekly basis
you replenish the bromine pucks in the bromine
feeder, shock using Smart Shock, and prevent
algae with Banish. While this is not the least expensive
way to maintain your pool, the quality of
water is amazing!

you choose, remember the importance of balancing
your pH, total alkalinity and calcium to
ensure sanitizer efficiency, swimmer comfort and
