Step 1 Client Consultation types to<br />
meet client needs.<br />
There are four types of detailed consultations in<br />
staging.<br />
1. Occupied Property Consultation without<br />
inventory. This option is a great choice when a<br />
client has enough inventory, furnishings, artwork,<br />
accessories, etc. But either has too much or does not<br />
needs expertise in knowing how to use what they have<br />
to the best advantage.<br />
2. Occupied Property Consultation with inventory.<br />
The purpose of this consultation report is to get the<br />
property prepared to the point where the Stager<br />
can conduct the staging Showcasing by bringing in<br />
additional furnishings and accessories, art, greenery,<br />
etc. which will appeal to the target buyer.<br />
3. Vacant Property Consultation. This type of<br />
consultation report covers re<strong>com</strong>mended repairs,,<br />
painting, landscaping, etc. prior to the actual<br />
Showcasing work.<br />

4. Vacant Property Consultation. Essentially,<br />
everything is clean, repaired and furniture ready,<br />
usually applies to a new or renovated house.<br />
Landscape/curb appeal re<strong>com</strong>mendations may still<br />
apply, but this consultation is to provide a quote for<br />
Showcasing the property with rented furnishings,<br />
and accessories which are lifestyle specific to a target<br />
buyer.<br />
Property owners are left with a <strong>com</strong>prehensive<br />
staging consultation report of re<strong>com</strong>mendations<br />
which will enhance the saleability of the property.<br />
Budget and timelines are taken into consideration<br />
when considering how and when the work (Step 2)<br />
will get done.
