inaugural 1933 hardcover edition of Who’s Who
in Major League Baseball transcends other volumes in
that this one still has its original dust jacket. The 544-
page volume has incredible content with numerical and
biographical text accompanied by pictures of players
clad in sport coats and ties. As for the rare dust jacket,
it is near-complete with expected edge fissures, tears
and missing pieces. The spine portion, amazingly, is
still intact.

2011 campaign, Roy Oswalt wore this Philadelphia
Phillies home jersey and pitched to a 9-10 mark despite
a decent 3.69 ERA. The white polyester button-down
garment features a red pinstripe pattern, twill identifiers
and proper “Majestic” tagging, as well as a black patch
with an embroidered “B” on the left breast in memory
of deceased former minority owners Jim and Whip

and September 11 games, these (2) Philadelphia
Phillies “New Era” caps each feature a white crown,
red bill and a stars-and-stripes embroidered “P” at the
front center. A stars-and-stripes themed MLB silhouette
logo is sewn to the back, while the players’ numbers
(“56” and “29”) are inscribed on the bills’ undersides.
Both show wear with perspiration-induced soiling on
