proper “Rawlings” tagging on both. Worn likely in
1953 and in subsequent seasons, the items show appropriate
wear. More on our website.
493. 1968 Boston Red Sox Game-
Worn Warm-Up Jacket
494. Vintage Houston Astros Game-
Worn Warm-Up Jacket
Space-themed logos, artificial turf and indoor baseball
Astros. As loud and colorful as those concepts once
seemed, this jacket was worn by an Astros player likely
during the late-1970s. The blue nylon button-down garment
features a team logo embroidered to a 7-1/2”-diameter
twill plate on the left breast and a smaller version on
the left sleeve. Within the collar, a “Wilson” size “44”
