764. 1941 All-Star Game
Program Signed by (17)
With T. Williams, J.
DiMaggio and Full JSA
In the circles of Mid-Summer
Classic collectibles, one would be
hard-pressed to trump the offered
treasure: a 1941 All-Star Game program
autographed by (17) of that
star-studded exhibition’s performers.
Issued to a scribe (as evidenced
by a “PRESS” stamping on the
front cover) at Detroit’s Briggs
Stadium for the event’s ninth annual
installment, the 28-page guide presents
beautifully, with covers and
crisp pages intact. The headline
attraction, however, is an assortment
of blue marker signatures on
the appropriate likenesses. These
pennings show (“9-10”) potency throughout and include: Boudreau, Danning, D.
DiMaggio, J. DiMaggio, Doerr, Feller, Gehringer, Lopez, Mize, Moore, Nicholson,
Owen, Russo, Slaughter, Smith, Tebbetts and T. Williams, who ended the battle with a
three-run walk-off homer. Full photo LOA from JSA. More on our website.
Opening Bid $500.00
periodicals display a combination
of extensive wear including
separate pages and covers, the
autographs dispersed throughout
the inner pages average (“9”)
strength and clarity. Highlights include Multi-Signed: (16 magazines, 73 signatures)
