In the various areas of Public Works and with regard to the period under
review, the most significant contract works were:

- The Railway Crossing of Sado River, integrated in the by-pass of Alcácer do
Sal, for “Rede Ferroviária Nacional - REFER, E.P.”, which includes a metal
bridge with multiple arches with a span of 160 linear metres. Its slim design
requires innovative construction and erection solutions, due to the unusual
nature of the structure.
- Commencement and completion of the execution of the Water Mineralisation
System of the Desalination Plant of Porto Santo, in Porto Santo, for “IGA –
Investimentos e Gestão da Água, S.A.”.
