Residents who belong to a <strong>Jewish</strong> organization are much more likely to also be dues-paying<br />

members <strong>of</strong> a synagogue than those who do not belong to any o<strong>the</strong>r <strong>Jewish</strong> organizations.<br />

Nearly half (49 percent) <strong>of</strong> those residents who belong to o<strong>the</strong>r <strong>Jewish</strong> organizations pay dues<br />

to a synagogue, while just 12 percent <strong>of</strong> those who do not participate in o<strong>the</strong>r <strong>Jewish</strong><br />

organizations are dues-paying synagogue members.<br />
