Geographically, <strong>Jewish</strong> <strong>Federation</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>East</strong> <strong>Bay</strong> donors are longtime <strong>East</strong> <strong>Bay</strong> <strong>Jewish</strong><br />
residents; 60 percent have lived in <strong>the</strong> <strong>Bay</strong> area for more than 20 years, and an additional 9<br />
percent say <strong>the</strong>y have lived <strong>the</strong>re all <strong>the</strong>ir lives. They average 15.7 years at <strong>the</strong>ir residence,<br />
longer than donors to any o<strong>the</strong>r cause or organization, and most have no intention <strong>of</strong> moving —<br />
79 percent plan to live in <strong>the</strong> same place or neighborhood in three years. More than half prefer<br />
events in <strong>the</strong> <strong>East</strong> <strong>Bay</strong> area.<br />
Regionally, Oakland-Berkeley residents are most likely to give, whereas <strong>the</strong> <strong>East</strong>ern Contra<br />
Costa, 680 Corridor, and Solano residents are generally <strong>the</strong> least likely to give.<br />
