to be set up under the Falcon Field dome.
Service:
A team of students from Arzanah visited 10
high schools in Abu Dhabi and also hosted a
high school delegation in order to encourage
female high school students to consider
professions in science and technology. Our
efforts resulted in an increase in applications
for academic year 2012-13.
VI. Summary
The PI’s WISE Program is unique and has
pioneered its own path while supporting
ADNOC’s mandate and its students’
aspirations. The challenge has been in securing
equal access to the academic resources of
the institution while creating an independent
female-oriented campus life. We continue to
streamline our facilities and processes while
maintaining the physical separation between
male and female undergraduates. The WISE
Program remains committed to being a model
for female undergraduate education in science
and engineering in the region and beyond.
V. Future Plans/Initiatives
Current initiatives include a new publication-
“WISE Times” - and a regular lunchtime event
which features short films (set up with the PI
