Preventing an Infestation<br />
Federal and State regulatory officials must conduct inspections and apply<br />
prescribed measures to ensure that pests do not spread within or between<br />
properties. Federal and State regulatory officials conducting inspections should<br />
follow the sanitation guidelines in the section Preparation, Sanitization, and<br />
Clean-Up on page 4-2 before entering and upon leaving each property to<br />
prevent contamination.<br />
