OPERATOR'S STATION<br />

CAB DOOR RELEASE LEVER<br />

CAUTION:<br />

• Open the cab door all the way until it securely locks<br />

in the latch on the side of the cab.<br />

• Do not keep the cab window open when the machine<br />

is parked on a slope, or while the wind is<br />

blowing hard. The cab window may close accidentally,<br />

possibly resulting in personal injury.<br />

• When opening or closing the cab window, take<br />

extra care not to catch fingers between the base<br />

machine and the cab window.<br />

To unlock the door from this position, push down on lever (1).<br />

OPENING UPPER FRONT WINDOW<br />

WARNING: Open or close the upper-front cab window<br />

only after pulling up the pilot control shut-off lever<br />

to the LOCK position. Failure to do so may allow the<br />

machine to move unexpectedly if a control lever is<br />

touched with a part of the body by mistake, possibly<br />

resulting in personal injury or death.<br />

1. Press lock release lever (2) at the upper center to release<br />

the upper front window lock.<br />

NOTE: Use caution when releasing the lock. The upper section<br />

of the upper front window will move approx. 10 cm<br />

inward.<br />

2. Holding the upper and lower handles (one each) on the<br />

upper front window, pull the upper front window up and<br />

back until it securely catches into auto locks (4).<br />

CAUTION: Always secure lock pin (3) in the lock position<br />

after the upper front window is opened.<br />

3. After confirming that the window securely catches into<br />

auto locks (4), slide lock pin (3) into the left bracket boss<br />

hole to lock the window in position.<br />

NOTE: When the upper front window is opened, the wiper and<br />

washer are inoperable.<br />
