who is not anxious for the fruits of his actions, is very dear to Me.<br />

yo na hrsyati na dvesti<br />
na socati na kanksati<br />
subhasubha-parityagi<br />
bhaktiman yah sa me priyah<br />
A devotee who neither becomes happy nor unhappy, who neither grieves<br />
nor desires anything, and who avoids auspicious and inauspicious things, is<br />
very dear to Me.<br />
TEXT 18-19<br />
samah satrau ca mitre ca<br />
tatha manapamanayoh<br />
sitosna-sukha-duhkhesu<br />
samah sanga-vivarjitah<br />
tulya-ninda-stutir mauni<br />
santusto yena kenacit<br />
aniketah sthira-matir<br />
bhaktiman me priyo narah<br />
One who is equal to friends and foes, who is equipoised in honour and<br />
dishonour, heat and cold, pleasure and pain, who avoids evil company, who is<br />
indifferent to praise and blame, who is silent and always satisfied, who is not<br />
attached to home, who is fixed in knowledge and engaged in devotional<br />
service, is very dear to me.<br />
TEXT 20<br />
ye tu dharmamrtam idam<br />
yathoktam paryupasate<br />
sraddadhana mat-parama<br />
bhaktas te 'tiva me priyah<br />
Those who follow the path of devotional service with firm faith, by<br />
accepting Me as the Supreme goal, are very dear to Me.<br />
om tatsditi srimad-bhagavad-gitasupanisatsu<br />
brahma-vidyayam yoga-sastre sri-krsnarjunasamvade<br />
bhakti-yogo<br />
nama dvadaso ´dhyayah<br />
Thus ends the Twelfth Chapter entitled, "The Principle of Devotion" in the<br />
Upanisad of <strong>Srimad</strong> <strong>Bhagavad</strong> <strong>Gita</strong>, the science of God, the scripture of Yoga<br />
and the divine dialogue between Sri Krishna and Arjuna.<br />
