TEXT 22<br />
purusah sa parah partha<br />
bhaktya labhyas tv ananyaya<br />
yasyantah-sthani bhutani<br />
yena sarvam idam tatam<br />
O Partha, that Supreme Personality of Godhead is the greatest of all and<br />
is attainable by unalloyed devotion. He is all pervading and everything exists in<br />
Him.<br />
TEXT 23<br />
yatra kale tv anavrttim<br />
avrttim caiva yoginah<br />
prayata yanti tam kalam<br />
vaksyami bharatarsabha<br />
O Bharatarsabha (Arjuna), now I shall tell you about the time when the<br />
yogis passing away from this world, will come back to this material world or<br />
not.<br />
TEXT 24<br />
agnir jyotir ahah suklah<br />
san masa uttarayanam<br />
tatra prayata gacchanti<br />
brahma brahma-vido janah<br />
Those who know the Supreme Brahman, breathe their last at the time of<br />
influence of Fire-god, in light, in an auspicious day, in the bright fortnight and<br />
during the six months period when the sun moves to the northern side of the<br />
equator.<br />
TEXT 25<br />
dhumo ratris tatha krsnah<br />
san-masa daksinayanam<br />
tatra candramasam jyotir<br />
yogi prapya nivartate<br />
Karma-yogis who pass away during smoke, night, dark fortnight, the six<br />
months when the sun moves to the southern side of the equator, or attain the<br />
moon planet, again come to this world.<br />
TEXT 26<br />
sukla-krsne gati hy ete<br />
jagatah sasvate mate<br />
ekaya yaty anavrttim<br />
anyayavartate punah<br />
There are two eternal paths for passing away from this world. One is the<br />
path of light and the other is darkness. Those who pass away during the path of<br />
light are not liable to come back but those who pass away during the path of<br />
darkness are bound to return.<br />
