- Resource users and Resource Guardians representation at
DSAM-CCC enhance by appointing more community and
CBO / NGO members from SAM area to DSAM-CCC;
- DSAM-CCC comprises Resource users, Resource
Guardians and Resource Managers.
- Reviewed and adopted the NECCDEP interim plan which
identified and prioritized the issues in an appropriate
manner;
- Environmental profile was developed through a review of
secondary data from study reports and primary data from
NECCDEP special studies and IP-NGO DSD level coastal
resource profiles.
- Planning process involved relevant stakeholders ;
- Consultation processes involved relevant stakeholders
- Draft plan presented to DSAM-CCC for comments and
suggestions;
- Final draft to be approved by CCD.

NECCDEP implemented the interim plan during the period
2006-2009. Implementation of this comprehensive SAM Plan
is contingent on approval and resourcing.
- Appropriate implementation, monitoring and evaluation and
institutional mechanisms are included in the plan;
- Specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time bound
(SMART) indicators are included in the logical framework.
- SAM offices will do the monitoring at the village level whilst
the DSAM-CCC will do the overall monitoring and evaluation
of the implementation process.
