Command: [no] capability opaque<br />

Function: This command enables opaque-LSA. The “[no] capability opaque” command<br />

closes this function.<br />

Default: Opaque-LSAs enabled<br />

Command Mode: OSPF protocol mode<br />

Usage <strong>Guide</strong>: Opaque-LSAs is type 9,10,11 LSA which is used for transmitting<br />

information’s for the externals.<br />

Example:<br />

Switch#config terminal<br />

Switch(config)#router ospf 100<br />

Switch(config-router)#no capability opaque<br />

17.6.3.11 compatible rfc1583<br />

Command: [no] compatible rfc1583<br />

Function: This command configures to rfc1583 compatible. The “[no] compatible<br />

rfc1583” command close the compatibility.<br />

Default: Rfc 2328 compatible by default<br />

Command Mode: OSPF protocol mode<br />

Example:<br />

Switch#config terminal<br />

Switch(config)#router ospf 100<br />

Switch(config-router)#compatible rfc1583<br />

17.6.3.12 clear ip ospf process<br />

Command: clear ip ospf [] process<br />

Function: Use this command to clear and restart OSPF routing processes. One certain<br />

OSPF process will be cleared by specifying the process ID, or else all OSPF processes<br />

will be cleared.<br />

Default: No default configuration<br />

Command Mode: Admin mode<br />

Example:<br />

Switch#clear ip ospf process<br />
