Command: ipv6 pim state-refresh origination-interval <br />

Function: Configure transmission interval of state-refresh message on interface. The “no<br />

ipv6 pim state-refresh origination-interval” command restores default value.<br />

Parameter: message transmission interval value is from 4s to 100s.<br />

Default: 60s<br />

Usage <strong>Guide</strong>: The first-hop router periodly transmits stat-refresh messages to maintain<br />

PIM-DM list ltems of all the downstream routers. The command can modify origination<br />

interval of state-refresh messages. Usually do not modify relevant timer interval. The<br />

command can configure on IPv6 tunnel interface, but it is successful configuration to only<br />

configure tunnel carefully.<br />

Example: Configure transmission interval of state-refresh message on interface vlan1 to<br />

90s.<br />

Switch (Config-if-Vlan1)#ipv6 pim state-refresh origination-interval 90<br />

21.2.3.13 ipv6 pim register-rate-limit<br />

Command: ipv6 pim Register-rate-limit <br />

no ipv6 pim Register-rate-limit<br />

Function: This command is used to configure the speedrate of DR sending register<br />

packets, the unit is packet/second. the “no ipv6 pim Register-rate-limit” command<br />

restores the default value. This configured speedrate is each(S, G)state’s, not the whole<br />

systems.<br />

Parameter: ranges from 1 to 65535<br />

Default: No limit for sending speed<br />

Command Mode: Global Mode<br />

Usage <strong>Guide</strong>: Configure the speedrate of DR sending register packets<br />

Example: Configure the speedrate of DR sending register packets to 59 p/s<br />

Switch(config)#ipv6 pim Register-rate-limit 59<br />
