Basically, <strong>the</strong>se are <strong>the</strong> PAs that have established user fees and have generated substantial<br />

amount of revenues <strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong> use of <strong>the</strong> area’s resources. Most of <strong>the</strong>se revenues are tourismrelated,<br />

whereby entrance fees are charged aga<strong>in</strong>st visitors enter<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> area <strong>for</strong> recreational<br />

purposes. Table 3.4 conta<strong>in</strong>s <strong>the</strong> list of PAs that have been able to raise IPAF revenues on<br />

<strong>the</strong>ir own.
