k. Penalty3. FinesPLAYERSmark registration status of the identification, and shall includeany and all forms of writing.Any player who violates this sub-Section C.2 may be ordered bythe Chair Umpire, Referee or Supervisor to change her attire orequipment immediately. Failure to comply with such an order mayresult in a fine and/or default from a <strong>Tour</strong>nament. All fines must beappealed within 21 days from the date of notice.l. Taping Patches<strong>The</strong> taping over of patches on clothing or hats is not allowed.A player who violates this Section C and is not defaulted, shall be subjectto the following fines:a. Commercial IdentificationViolations of the provisions with respect to commercial identificationshall result in a fine of up to $25,000 for each offense.b. <strong>Tennis</strong> Equipment Manufacturer’s LogoViolations of the provisions with respect to standard logos of manufacturersshall result in a fine of up to $25,000 for each offense.c. Other <strong>Tennis</strong> EventViolations of the provisions with respect to the name of an eventother than the <strong>WTA</strong> <strong>Tour</strong> shall result in a fine up to $5,000.d. Unacceptable AttireViolations of the provisions with respect to unacceptable attire shallresult in a fine of up to $500.Fine appeals must be filed within 21 days from the date of notice.105
