PLAYERSACES Policy.h. Pro-Ams/ClinicsPlayers are asked for their best efforts to participate in the<strong>Tour</strong>nament’s Pro-Am or to conduct teaching clinics in connectionwith the <strong>Tour</strong>nament. Appropriate attire is required at such Pro-Ams and teaching clinics.Any <strong>Tour</strong>nament Director wishing to hold such an event mustadvise the Communications staff at least six (6) weeks in advanceof the <strong>Tour</strong>nament. <strong>The</strong> Supervisor, prior to players committing toparticipate, must approve the format, the length of time of participationand the fees for such an event. Following is a fee schedulefor player participation in a Pro-Am.Event Duration FeeUp to 1 hour $1001-2 hours $1502-3 hours $2003-4 hours $250If the number of entries into such an event exceeds the neededamount, then the <strong>Tour</strong>nament Director may select half the numberneeded. <strong>The</strong> remaining entries will be randomly drawn. All playerswho lose in the 1st round or are entered in doubles only areexpected to participate in the Pro-Am event.i. <strong>WTA</strong> <strong>Tour</strong> Patches<strong>The</strong> <strong>WTA</strong> reserves the right to require players to wear a <strong>WTA</strong> <strong>Tour</strong>or <strong>WTA</strong> <strong>Tour</strong>/sponsor patch (within defined sponsor region, if aregional sponsor) at all <strong>Tour</strong>naments.i. Player ResponsibilityIt is the responsibility of the player to have the patch visibleand properly adhered to her clothing for the entirety of hermatch. <strong>WTA</strong> staff are not responsible for delivering patches toplayers on court, but may elect at their discretion, to do so.ii.Patch Placement and Size93
