PLAYERSround retirement in excess of two (2) per <strong>Tour</strong> Year, a player willbe fined in accordance with the Unsportsmanlike Conductsection of the Code of Conduct.ii.Any player that withdraws, retires or defaults from a <strong>WTA</strong> <strong>Tour</strong><strong>Tour</strong>nament and plays in the Qualifying of a Grand Slam in thesame week will automatically be fined $750 forUnsportsmanlike Conduct.f. UnprofessionalIf the player’s withdrawal is reported to the <strong>WTA</strong> as being for unprofessionalreasons, or is damaging to the image of the <strong>WTA</strong> <strong>Tour</strong>,the player will be subject to a disciplinary review and/or penaltiesby the <strong>WTA</strong>.g. Prize Money and Ranking Points(See Defaults, Withdrawals and Byes - page 172).7. Withdrawal of Seeds(See procedures for Withdrawal of a Seed – page 65).C. DRAWS1. Singles Main Drawa. Composition<strong>The</strong> Main Draw will consist of some or all of the following:i. Direct AcceptanceThose players accepted directly into the draw by virtue of theirpast performance as determined by the <strong>WTA</strong> <strong>Tour</strong> Rankings(unless an exception is authorized by the <strong>WTA</strong> via a SpecialRanking). (See Section III.A.5.h for ranking requirements -page 26.)ii.QualifiersThose players accepted into the draw due to their success inthe Qualifying competition. Following are the number ofQualifiers based on the draw size:42
