Qualifying Entry Deadlines for <strong>WTA</strong> <strong>Tour</strong> <strong>Tour</strong>naments shall bethree (3) weeks prior to the start of the Main Draw of each<strong>Tour</strong>nament.c. All entry deadlines will close on Mondays, and all references toentry deadlines refer to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time (New York, USATime) unless specified differently. (See Top 10 Player Entry Ruleson page 13).9. Composition of Acceptance SinglesA player may enter an unlimited number of <strong>Tour</strong>naments (subject toAge Eligibility Rule and Top 10 List Player restrictions) provided she haspaid all outstanding fines from prior years, and in the case of a nonmember,has paid the PlayerZone fee. <strong>Tour</strong>nament acceptances arebased on the most current rankings as of the applicable entry deadline,except where the Premier 700 and International Prize Money Policiesapply.Once a player has been accepted into a <strong>Tour</strong>nament, she will not beremoved from the Acceptance List unless she officially withdraws fromthe <strong>Tour</strong>nament.10. Singles <strong>Tour</strong>nament Acceptance and Seeding Procedure ifRankings TiedIf players’ rankings are tied at the time of <strong>Tour</strong>nament acceptances (or<strong>Tour</strong>nament seeding), the following tie-break procedures will be used inthe following order:a. Player with the highest ranking from the previous week;b. Player with the fewest number of <strong>Tour</strong>naments played over theprevious 52-week period (including any Premier Mandatory<strong>Tour</strong>naments, if the player qualified for acceptance); andc. For entries of players with Special Rankings, in the event of a tiebetween two (2) players with Special Rankings, the 1st tie-breakprocedure is the player’s actual current ranking, the 2nd tie-breakprocedure is the highest actual ranking from the previous weekand the 3rd tie-break procedure shall be the highest ranking fromthe week prior to the start of each player’s out of competition.28
